The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday, as the Norwegian Nobel Committee warned that the risk of a nuclear conflict is greater than for a long time.

ICAN describes itself as a coalition of grassroots non-government groups in more than 100 nations. It began in Australia and was officially launched in Vienna in 2007.

Given the current tensions due to North Korea, this prize seems somehow apt. What do you think?

    Or Barack Obama!
"Nominations for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize closed just 11 days after Obama took office. There were 205 nominations for the 2009 award, which included Chinese and Afghan civil rights activists and African politicians. Colombian Senator Piedad Córdoba,[7][8] Afghanistan's Sima Samar,[7] Chinese dissident Hu Jia and Prime Minister of Zimbabwe Morgan Tsvangirai had been speculated to be favorites for the award.[2]"

Ya, Obama getting it was the most ridiculous thing. Kissinger was bad enough, but the timing and political image sell seemed to fool enough of the US that still idolizes him. They don't realize he was just a nicer face to the warmonger. Oh wait, there was that last time he threatened to drone his daughter's BF, "oh isn't hr so relatable! He he." Can't believe I was a sucker for the whole hope bit, like haha riiiight this will be the guy who fixes everything. Damn puppets.

And now you have Hillary rewriting history with her book: she didn't lose because she came off as a corrupt politician (Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned because of wikileaks, not because "she helped Hillary steal from Bernie"). She lost BECAUSE of BERNIE!

Bernie was so negative about her!

She accepts FULL RESPONSIBILITY for losing by blaming everyone else for her loss.
      She. Is. A. TOOL!
