According to Bloomberg, Apple is taking a markedly different path with its streaming TV series than the likes of HBO Now or Showtime. The sources for the report—which include Hollywood producers and other industry insiders who have met with the company in recent months—paint a picture of a very conservative corporation making slow progress.

They say that Apple has expressed a preference for uplifting, family-friendly shows and that it has been disinterested in other kinds of pitches—even those from prestigious artists like Gravity's Alfonso Cuarón—because they don't fit that mold.

Carpool Karaoke, based on the segment from CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden, was scheduled to premiere on Apple Music in April, but it didn't. The series came out in August instead. The Bloomberg report indicates that the show was delayed because the initial cuts had swearing and "references to vaginal hygiene."

Will Apple be the new Disney?

From the beginning of time up until around now, as in five years ago Disney execs would have been fired for even suggesting devoting an entire season to a triangle between a thot, a dude and a gay BFF lusting after the same dude. Even in the worst degeneracy during the terminal stages of the decline of the civilizations of old it was known to be wrong, just tolerated. Only our civilization, powered by so much wealth we can drive into depravities of r-selection since unseen, do we go beyond tolerance to acceptance and finally (hopefully at the end!) to having it held up as superior.

Not really, it's mostly closeted gays that are upset by it. It's not like they're showing people fucking on network TV. Any fucking going on is on either pay TV or movies.

Most other people either don't think about it or don't mind it.

Ditto the BBC, new thing just out from them is some sort of Non-Binary Nemo Finds Itself - boy fish meets girl fish, doesn't get on, girl fish changes into boy fish, boy-who-was-girl fish fights boy-who-was-boy-fish for the mating territory and wins, leaving boy fish to (presumably) mate with no one, and girl (now boy) fish to mate with other girl fishes.

God knows who thought that plot up, but it's called Blue something, so must be something to do with Democrats, and to cap it all they've got David Attenborough involved as if to convince us this sort of stuff is _natural_! End of civilization indeed.
