The Democratic National Committee is hiring IT people for these positions:
The Daily Wire, a conservative blog, posted an e-mail purportedly from Madeleine Leader, the DNC's Data Services Manager, showing her announcing the openings and writing
I personally would prefer that you not forward to cisgender straight while males, since they're already in the majority.

The funny thing is that cisgender straight while males are in the majority of males, so a corresponding representation of males in a political party is probably okay, as long as they aren't also assholes.
Methinks the lady is a wee bit confused. It's not any particular variety of gender or sexual identity folk that are needed. What is needed are people who respect other's personal choices.

What is needed is someone who knows what they're doing. After more than 25 years in IT I've come to realize you really only need the following 3 things to succeed:
Know what you're doing: You might be able to fake it at first, but when you get hacked, everyone will find out you're incompetent.
Be reasonable: Companies pay a lot of money to IT contractors/employees even though there's no certifications required to have the job b/c it's an area of expertise that few people really understand. If you show you're reasonable you have a better chance of not only getting the client but retaining them for the long haul.
Be discreet: You have to be able to unsee things in order to gain (and retain) the trust of your client.
That's really all it takes to be successful in this field. "Respect" for other's choices shouldn't have anything to do w/ who gets hired.

Here we see the fundamental flaw in the liberal argument in its most refined form. Respect is not and should not be guaranteed anyone for anything. Tolerance is all you're entitled to. As in "I had to tolerate this guy who smelled like he shit himself on the bus to work today.". There is no amount of implied respect in the definition of "tolerance".

Speaking from experience here. When you hear this phrase, it's time to either start dressing yourself even more unattractively, or to start looking for a new job. Best do both, simultaneously.
