Spirits may make you feel angry, sexy or tearful, while red wine or beer may make you feel relaxed, say researchers.

They questioned nearly 30,000 people aged 18-34 from 21 different countries for the study in the journal BMJ Open.

All the respondents drank beer, wine and spirits, and many said each type of alcohol had a different effect on them.

While having a few drinks can be enjoyable, researchers hope their findings will help highlight the dangers of dependent drinking.

We have to discuss this, if only because it may explain Ethanol-Fueled's posts.

That's why they call it "te-quill-ya." Though the temperament of Mexicans has a lot more to do with it than Tequila does.

In case you are all curious, my trusty workhorse is Gallo Sauvignon Blanc. It's not fizzy and bloaty like beer, it's not rotgut like liquor is, and it has a decent strength. When I do drink beer, though, my trusty workhorse is Stone IPA or whatever single/double IPAs I can get my grubby paws on.

When I'm at live shows and I need to get trashed on the quick, I shoot Jagermeister. That comes as a surprise to even me because I hate licorice and other herbey flavors, but Jager is pretty mellow on the throat without requiring a chaser.
