Time Inc., the publisher of Time, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, People, Entertainment Weekly, etc., will be bought for $1.84 billion by Meredith Corporation ($2.8 billion including debt):

U.S. media company Meredith Corp said on Sunday it will buy Time Inc, the publisher of People, Sports Illustrated and Fortune magazines, in a $1.84 billion (1.38 billion pounds) all-cash deal backed by conservative billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch. The deal is a coup for Meredith, which held unsuccessful talks to buy Time earlier this year and in 2013.

It will give news, business and sports brands to the Des Moines, Iowa-based publisher and broadcaster, which owns lifestyle magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens and Family Circle. Analysts have said that bulking up on publishing assets could give Meredith the scale required to spin off its broadcasting arm into a standalone company. When combined, the Meredith and Time brands will have a readership of 135 million people and paid circulation of nearly 60 million. The deal also will expand Meredith's reach with internet-savvy millennials, creating a digital media business with 170 million monthly unique visitors in the United States and more than 10 billion annual video views.

Did we mention the Koch brothers, aka Koch Koch and Luigi Koch?

The thing I find most interesting is that both sides complaining about the owners of media businesses basically accept Noam Chomsky's idea about how ownership biases affect the news. Which I agree with: I've yet to encounter a news outlet that isn't biased as all get-out.

And, as an academic exercise, those who know about the bias, should be seeking out as many biases as possible. Yet - there are tons of people who won't read the other side's news, let alone seek out different views and biases from foreign news sources. Instead, knowing that left-leaning (or right) American MSM is biased, they insist that they only read/watch/listen to that biased source of news.

Or, in summary, they're perfectly happy in their own little echo chambers.

Now this ^ right cheer is why I will not read a Runaway post. It is like its own little bubble trying to appear to not be a bubble by doubling down on the bubbleness. I recognize the trap. Runaway is too middle-of-the-road, to "moderate", too old and racist and sexist, to even enter into modern discussions, which begs the question be asked: If the Cocks are funding the cucks, and The Unicorn Sauros is funding the people who fought against Germany in WWII (that would be, the antifa), who is funding Runaway? It must be someone even more powerful, more richer, more insidious and deceptive than your average run-o-the-mill billionaire. Only power like that could create a Runaway, and such power is nearly irresistible. Which I why I do not read Runaway posts, and neither should you. The risk is just too grate.

Link to a fact-checking site telling them the video or article is false, and they might even block you for spreading the other side's propaganda.

Or so they claim they are doing it on purpose to get rid of the racism by indoctrinating and brainwashing the youth instead of teaching them to think and decide for themselves on any issue like a logical reasonable person would?

We got an interview with a liberal professor in Reddit who gave us information about it during a debate so it is original research from an anonymous source. We quoted him to show what he claims is going on.

I am searching to find debate scripts to use on the Internet that they hand out to students, as some sort of proof of astroturfing. I see when I mention astroturfing (fake grassroots) I get 5 trolls mod my post down.

The Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, are in a contest to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY for the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad.
