Chelsea Manning eyes U.S. Senate seat for Maryland
Chelsea Manning, the transgender U.S. Army soldier who served seven years in military prison for leaking classified data, is seeking the Democratic Party's nomination for the U.S. Senate seat from Maryland, according to Federal election filings seen on Saturday.
[...] Democratic Senator Ben Cardin was elected in 2006 to that seat and is expected to run for re-election this year. He is the senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Cardin was easily re-elected in 2012, beating his Republican challenger by 30 points in the heavily-Democratic state.

No. The disaster in Iraq, which enabled the rise of ISIS, was caused by George W. Bush.

Ah, but *that* disaster in Iraq only came about because of the actions and inactions of the previous George Bush.
You can try to shift blame the all you want to point out causes-of-causes, but before (and for the majority of) Obama's tenure "Al Qaeda" was all the rage, and America's "big bad" only morphed into an organisation with ambitions of statehood under Obama's watch.

Well, that first Iraq war wouldn't have happened had it not been for Jimmy Carter propping up Saddam in the first place in the fight against Iran. No need to make this a one-party problem.
