Coding is a vital component of tech education, but it won't be enough to sustain the next generation of workers.

[...] Pichai notes that workers today are required to have skills that scarcely existed five years ago, such as an administrative assistant needing to use online programs to run budgets, scheduling and accounting, among other tasks.

And he says these skills are much easier to learn than coding, pointing to $1 billion in new initiatives Google unveiled last year aimed at training and educating workers to help them find jobs and grow their businesses.

"Through these trainings, people learn about using technology to research, to plan events, analyze data and more," Pichai wrote. "They don't require a formal degree or certificate."

[...] "We should make sure that the next generation of jobs are good jobs, in every sense," Pichai wrote. "Rather than thinking of education as the opening act, we need to make sure it's a constant, natural and simple act across life -- with lightweight, flexible courses, skills and programs available to everyone."

I thought he just wanted to make sure everyone was good with outsourcing.

now that laying off employees and making it seem global is a liberal thing (where it used to be conservative) he has to play the part of a liberal globalist ceo giving life coaching advice to his employees now that many of them had kids. only conservatives have children in the real world -- liberals all abort them or prevent them if they are smart. so now that something happened and non-foreign nationals started to supplement the countrys birth rate, he has to do something to increase shareholder value by ensuring that the future generation of kids are worthless and can't do anything without help.

i mean look at how the world is now. you go ahead and try to take the magic glowing device away from a kid. you'll get bit or worse. his goals are working but the thing is if kids really learn how to code they will also figure out how to read code and see what is happening.

so he cant allow that. make them great thinkers or artists or something, but no you cant learn how the man behind the curtain actually indoctrinates people via dependency services... otherwise the illuminati of facebook, apple, microsoft, google and amazon will have a power struggle that few can hope to get next day deliveries from which they survive. (who even has more than a few days worth of candy bars and cheetos anyway? i mean besides the vault of bitcoin purchased survival food for when the revolution happens and the internet goes down for a while)

It seems that you have misspelled Neoliberal. [soylentnews.org]

(where it used to be conservative)

I've worked for people who were actually Conservative.
They were Christians in every sense of the word and very measured in everything they did.
It bothered them when they had to lay me off.

The word you are looking for is Reactionary.
