The New York Times reports "Trump Ordered Mueller Fired, but Backed Off When White House Counsel Threatened to Quit":

President Trump ordered the firing last June of Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel overseeing the Russia investigation, according to four people told of the matter, but ultimately backed down after the White House counsel threatened to resign rather than carry out the directive.

Hey dummy, follow the link if you don't want to sound like a jackass. I was pointing out that this is not "fake news" and by now you should know better than to make such claims just because it is an anti-trump article. As usual your intellectual prowess leaves everyone feeling dissatisfied.

And? What's your point? I just said I don't give a rat's ass what happens to trump so long as it's all above board.

Your memory is shorter than a WalMart employee's benefits list.

"Well, it's not exactly coming from a reliable source. There was a time when the name New York Times meant something other than "we will print absolutely anything it takes to see Democrats in office" but that time has long passed."

Your error is in thinking this is some pro-trump anti-trump debate.

Sorry, there's no error on my part. There's only reading comprehension failure on your part. If the NYT's story turns out by complete coincidence to be true, I won't shed a single tear. My like, dislike, or indifference of Trump plays no part in my refusal to believe anything the NYT says until it's confirmed by someone reliable though. That is entirely based upon their own flagrant disregard for the truth in pursuit of their agenda.

You really want to argue reading comprehension? Right after I linked to a story about Fox's Hannity reversing his accusations of fake news 30min later? I guess there really is no cure for the brainwashed, except maybe a new brain. I hear they've been trying to do some brain transplants so you may be in luck in 10-20 years!

You think reading Hannity's opinion is going to convince me of anything except to close that browser tab as quickly as possible? I can't even stand the sight of the guy. There is nothing worse than to be absolutely correct on an issue and to hear him argue it with his trademarked utter ineptitude. Not that he's correct that often but it does happen by accident once in a while.

Sweet jesus, I just now realized what your problem is. You are 100% triggered all the time, you just mask it when there isn't a direct "threat". No wonder arguments are such a PITA with you, we all have to surmount your emotional barriers before you can even properly engage with a topic. Every. Time.
