Yeah, so life has managed to delay our December Update until February. Things happen. The only change to what's in it is that I wrote up a simple plugin to syndicate content to Twitter, which is very much preferable to our current situation since we're pushing stories from a hacky little script on my desktop at the moment and I'd like to be able to boot Windows 7 for some vidya once in a while.
Downtime should be five minutes or less starting around 2:00AM UTC (an hour and forty minutes from now).

May I make a suggestion? Preferences still asks for AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo! IDs. Amusing as that is aside, perhaps replace those with space to add Telegram and Wire IDs? Of course that is an extremely minor thing and I know y'all have much bigger fish to fry, but just something to take into consideration seeing as AIM and Yahoo! are dead, and the only people I know of that still use ICQ are Russians.

They're not soviet any more, we don't call them soviet. They stopped being soviet when they lost -- they lost very badly -- the Cold War. When they got rid of Mikhail Gorbachev. Very smart move. I invited the guy to Trump Tower fro dinner, he says he'll come, right? Never calls, never shows up. And he thought he could run the biggest country. He couldn't run it, he ran it into the ground. If he'd listened to me, he could have done great things. With the Cold War, he could have ended it much sooner. Much better for Russia, maybe they would have won. But he flaked on me. And gave Russia a bad reputation. But they got rid of him, they got a much better guy. I think maybe it's time to give Russia a second chance. But some people are afraid, they want to block the ICQ because it has Russians. Because a Russian might find SoylentNews. Believe me, you could do worse than to have some Russian people joining up. A lot worse. It's a witch hunt, folks.

All the kids are on Facebook & Twitter these days, those are becoming very big. Although, very hard for our white kids, our dreamers, they have to be very politically correct. Or they get banned very quickly!

Twitter is just fine as an ID and is probably a good choice. I think Facebook has an ID-like string too... but lol.
