The first episode of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" was broadcast on PBS on February 19, 1968. Fifty years later, the program is still being shown on public television stations, to the delight of both children and adults. Though he passed away in 2003, Fred Rogers' philosophy continues to influence children's television today.

Lucky guy! It's been -20C pretty much every day for 2 months where I am... I'm fucking sick of it -- and I love winter!

Ha, I'm fucking sick of it, but I HATE winter, lol.
Just when I thought global warming was making Canadian winters more agreeable....
Now it's going to take forever to get my garden going.

It is 17c here today and people are bitching that it is cold, I don't even come close to knowing your pain. If everyone I know who has lived it didn't advise against it, I would be tempted to discover the meaning of the word seasons first hand.

Nothing especially wrong with seasons, though I very much prefer them here in TN to back in OK. A month and a half of real winter and real summer per year beats the hell out of three of each.

Wow, -20 sounds awful.
I'm not sure it will make you feel better, but it's been about 28 C where I am most days this month. We did just survive tropical cyclone Gita yesterday however, which fortunately means a little bit of wind and about 15 minutes of heavy rain.
Back to the 90% humidity now which is a lot less fun.

Sorry about that.
When I get home I'm going to pick a bunch of cucumbers, tomatoes and tomatillos from my garden.
That must help.
