Eight members of a German far-right group were sentenced to jail Wednesday on terrorism and attempted murder charges for a series of explosives attacks targeting refugees and anti-fascist activists.

Based in Germany's ex-communist east, the so-called "Freital group" had sought to create "a climate of fear" at the height of Germany's refugee and migrant influx in 2015, the court was told.

Its leaders Timo Schulz and Patrick Festing were sentenced to 10 and nine-and-a-half years prison respectively. The other six received custodial terms of between four and eight-and-a-half years.

If your country is being overrun by violent invaders, what do you call the natives who try to discourage those invaders, using methods said invaders will understand??

"IF". Doesn't apply to Germany's situation.

You'd then just be wrong because it still wouldn't apply to Germany. Look there's a lot that's retarded about allowing huge numbers of immigrants with little attempt to control the situation. But it's not the immigrants' fault for taking advantage of the situation. I think instead you ought to take a hard look at EU politics that at the time allowed one state, Greece to decide immigration policy for the entire EU. I think also there's a bit of political exploiting of the crisis going on with politicians like Merkel deliberately importing as many people as they can before the loophole goes away. Immigration tends to stabilize high cost welfare policy, for example.

Hmmm...let's see. Who was it that was just convicted of a series of bombings intended to create "a climate of fear" among a targeted group?

It must have been those nasty Muslim "invaders," right? Not so much.

The only folks "acting like savages" in the topic we discuss today are German nationals. Do you also blame rape/assault/robbery victims for getting raped/assaulted/robbed?

"the topic we discuss today" were your words, not mine.

I guess you want to change topics because you'd prefer not to talk about the bunch of bloodthirsty scumbage who *terrorized* communities. Is that it?

I've got a news flash for you Adolph. Terrorist tactics are *never* justified.

You want to protest? Great! You want to speak your mind and be heard. Rock on!

But trying to kill/maim random people because you don't like that they worship the same god in a different way and/or because of their skins' melanin content? that's criminal.

And make no mistake, those murderous (no, they didn't actually kill anyone, thank goodness, but they sure tried) scumbags are just common criminals who deserve to be treated as such.

You're a cowardly piece of shit and you'd never "return fire." Not that anyone is actually shooting at you.

The only times you'd get involved in something like that is if you had 10 other guys with you and there was one or two old men or teenage girls you could beat to death.

Or if you cold-cocked [wiktionary.org] someone with a bat or a bottle without warning from behind.

From who? It's time for a reality check here. There's no credible threat of genocide here from the "invaders". Nor are immigrants invaders. I get you have feelz about this, but you're talking about at the least deporting a bunch of people who have done nothing wrong. At worst, you talking about murdering innocent people (as this group attempted on one occasion).

That's dar es salam. [wordpress.com]. The Muslims really go at each other's throats when they are nearly 100% of the population and there is only Islam. Before that, there is also war with any remaining non-Muslims [thereligionofpeace.com] as a distraction.

When the concentration is lower at 80% you can expect state-run ethnic cleansing and genocide, like you see in Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and more.

When the concentration is even lower at 60%, you get all that but only sporadically. Jizya is forced then if not sooner.

I'm sorry. When exactly did this happen? [wikipedia.org] It seems to me that Muslim and non-muslim countries are pretty bloodthirsty, and there has been plenty of ethnic cleansing on all sides. Your straw man is on fire.

There is no such thing as jizya [wikipedia.org] any more. Your straw man has burned to ash.

The term appears in the Quran referring to a tax or tribute from People of the Book specifically Jews and Christians. Followers of other religions like Zoroastrians and Hindus too were later integrated into category of dhimmis and required to pay jizya. In the Indian Subcontinent the practice was eradicated by the 18th century. It almost vanished during the 20th century with disappearance of Islamic states and spread of religious tolerance.[35] The tax is no longer imposed by nation states in the Islamic world,[36][37] although there are reported cases of organizations such as the Pakistani Taliban and ISIS attempting to revive the practice.[35][38][39]

I have seen that policy first hand. Germany and Germans suffer because, like most of the suffering in this world, they want what they cannot have. In this case, they don't want to do research on the people they are inviting inside their country. They don't want to put money in teaching these people their language, and they don't want to train their citizens for the upcoming change in their society. What they want is to wave the magic wand and have all the laborers they are running short of. USA has done wonders inviting Asians/Indians to the country, but Germany has almost no need for intelligent citizens. Unfortunately, the times have changed since so many decades and current Syrian refugees are not the same as Turkish immigrants who just want to sit tight, pray 5 times a day and do the dirty job. The world is interconnected and every tom dick and harry carries internet access in the pocket and dreams of just deserves.
