How can we understand the process by which an attack type popularized in the West Bank became the tactic of choice for a white supremacist in the United States? The best way to do so—and to predict the spread of new tactics—may come from an unconventional source: epidemiology, the science of the spread of disease.

If you can deny that a bunch of communist instigators incited a riot, then you can justify anything. The Nazi pukes had a permit, and were observing the law. Your law breaking left came in and attacked them, while the cops stood by and watched.
Characterize things however you like - that characterization separates American patriots from anti-American haters.
The fact that I have to defend a Nazi whom I despise from your side only emphasizes how despicable the left is. I do have some history with communist instigators. I've met them in a dozen countries. What was needed in Charlottesville was a couple dozen people like myself with experience quelling riots.
I'll repeat something I posted when this all happened:
The best possible outcome in Charlottesville would have been that the Nazis and the Commies killed each other off. I mean, that's really the BEST. Our nation doesn't need any of their kind. Unfortunately, only one communist died that day.

Did that permit actually permit lefties to attack righties? In point of fact, a bunch of lefties showed up looking for violence. Righties had their permit, lefties sought permits FOR THE PURPOSE of inciting a riot. There was nothing "lawful" about the arrival of the left.
