The suspect in a spate of bombings that terrorized residents of Austin, Texas, died after detonating an explosive inside his vehicle as a SWAT team approached to apprehend him on the side of a highway, officials said.
Early Wednesday, authorities tracked the suspect — a 24-year-old white man — to a hotel in Round Rock, a city in the Austin metropolitan area, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley told a news conference early Wednesday.
They tracked his vehicle until it pulled over on Interstate 35 and the suspect "detonated a bomb inside the vehicle, knocking one of our SWAT officers back and one of our officers fired on the vehicle as well," Manley said.

Or Hispanic. Remember George Zimmerman the afro-peruvian dude who self-identified as Hispanic on all his legal paperwork, but as soon as he shot a black kid who was beating him to death, he magically got white-washed into being an evil white male.
I'm sure there's people out there right now claiming Duterte of the Philippines is a white dude merely because they don't like him and he's slightly paler than MLK jr was.

Hispanic/Latino is an ethnicity, not a race.
Peruvian is a nationality.
You are right that people were pretending that he fit the same definition of "white" (Caucasian, WASP, etc.) that is commonly used. While he was technically "white", he wasn't white enough for some people.

Zimmerman is both white and hispanic. As the other guy said, hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. You could tell he's hispanic just by looking at him.
As for the black kid beating him to death, I don't think that was ever proven. Zimmerman had a bunch of run-ins with the cops after that incident, involving domestic violence, so I'm not at all inclined to believe his story; the evidence points to him instigating the whole thing. George has proven that he really *is* an evil white male.

Well, I see two big red flags here in the first article about the bomber:
1) He was homeschooled, and 2) they said something about a "mission trip" (typical for LDS followers).
Obviously, we can conclude that being raised by religious nuts and being homeschooled (these typically go together) makes someone more likely to become a serial killer.
Seriously, kids who are homeschooled are almost always screwed up. Only being socialized within a little cult is not healthy.
