From NPR:

Police are responding to an active shooter at the headquarters of YouTube. A hospital has received "several" patients from the incident, a spokesman says.

Local TV news reports show pictures of people evacuating a building with their hands over their heads. Each person was being frisked by a police officer, apparently to make sure that they pose no threat.

Local law enforcement officials have not issued any information.

From Reuters:

Police in San Bruno warned people in a Twitter message to stay away from the address where YouTube, owned by Alphabet Inc's Google, is based.

"We are responding to an active shooter. Please stay away from Cherry Ave & Bay Hill Drive," San Bruno police said on Twitter.

Lisa Kim, a spokeswoman for Stanford Health Care, said the hospital was receiving between four to five patients from the shooting incident at the YouTube offices.

nor am I a conspiracy theorist.

    So YOU SAY.

Most mentally ill folk just want to make it through their day.

In other words, they ain't got time for all that?

School/mass shootings could be a subdisorder of affluenza.

that kid from florida is hardly the affulent type. or that dylan guy that shot up the church. or that guy that shot the one democratic congresslady. the dude wasn't even particularly political, he was just mentally disturbed.

they were all young white males, but their problems all seemed to be related to mental health issues and not getting all the right treatment. the sandy hook kid was better off financially than those guys, but he was born with issues that are hard to address without regular care.

i dont think any of them claimed to have taken instructions from some group or some divine being. of course that makes it worse for many people that belong to such groups, because it denies a convenient source of blame.

Not affluenza /per se/, but most of the perpetrators of these crimes seem to be middle class, don't they?
