According to a new analysis,

[...] In this paper, simple one-dimensional dynamical models are uniquely applied to study in detail the fatal shot and the motion of the President's head observed in the film. Using known parameters from the crime scene, explicit force calculations are carried out for determining the projectile's retardation during tissue passage along with the resulting transfer of momentum and kinetic energy (KE). The computed instantaneous KE transfer within the soft tissue is found to be consistent with the formation of a temporary cavity associated with the observed explosion of the head, and subsequent quantitative examination of this phenomenon reveals two delayed forces at play in the backward motion of the President following impact. It is therefore found that the observed motions of President Kennedy in the film are physically consistent with a high-speed projectile impact from the rear of the motorcade, these resulting from an instantaneous forward impulse force, followed by delayed rearward recoil and neuromuscular forces.

Plus, he was downstairs having a coke: he WAS a patsy and someone with a better rifle killed JFK, no matter from which direction.

Was not Oswald, yeah he was a shit shot and would have shot as the car was at its slowest while making that turn ONTO Elm.

He was setup and killed so he could not go to trial: too much pesky info may have come out at trial.

I think it's very sad what they've done with this discredited and fake dossier, it was made up and I understand they made a tremendous amount of money, and Hillary Clinton always denied it, the Democrats always denied it. And now only because it's going to come out in a court case they said, yes, they admitted it and they are embarrassed by it. I think it's a disgrace, it's a very sad commentary on politics in this country.

The short-distance shot was much harder. JFK would have been moving rapidly from the shooter's left to Oswald's right. It was also at a really steep angle, so Oswald would have had to be pretty much hanging out the window -- he wouldn't be able to look through the scope!

The longer shot was easy. JFK's movement was directly away from Oswald, causing almost no apparent movement when looking through the scope to aim. The angle was reasonable. At the time, the trees were short. Somebody decent at shooting would have needed to try only once; Oswald got it in a few tries.

A few too many tries: as someone else pointed out, there were too many shots for that gun to make in the short period of time. And the shot would have been so much easier when he was turning onto Elm: the car was barely moving. Wait until the car has slowed and is about to start the turn and fire down.
The pictures i've seen from the shooter window show it is fairly low, but the window raises up quite a bit: it would have been easy for him to have almost the same stance just in the other direction. No need to 'hang out the window'.

Waiting until the car is farther away from you (when you know you're a shitty shot as Oswald was)? Not the smartest idea.

NOW, if you take the second commissions report that there were MULTIPLE shooters (but NO CONSPIRACY: RIGHT. Multiple shooters ALL at the same spot but no conspiracy....), waiting makes more sense: wait until he is in the cross-fire.

I don't believe Oswald fired any shots (he was seen by the one officer CALMLY drinking a cola in the break room SHORTLY after the shots (the officer immediately got off his motorcycle and ran into the building, encountering a calm Oswald)). He was set up: a patsy, as he says.
