Today the company announced that it would acquire Plexxi, a specialist in software-defined data center solutions, aimed at optimising application performance for enterprises that are using hybrid cloud environments.

Now they both can blame their momentary downtime for the next couple months on growing pains due to integrating the acquisitions.
I was recently working with a client who adopted oracle cloud for part of their business, just after golive had two weeks of downtime at their year end because of a certificate mismatch that oracle couldnt figure out.
Excited for these new developments and how they will make business harder in the name of progress.

It doesn't matter how hard the business is; even more, the harder the better, management can show activity!!!
What does matter is profit... if the paying customers and those that suffer because of downtime are different or if the paying customers are captive, then the cloud will be cheaper.
