At theGrio, Spike Lee blasted Trump for not condemning the Klan and Alt-Right:
Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman was well received at the Cannes Film Festival, and the prolific director did not hold back giving his take on how President Donald Trump has contributed to a hateful, divisive culture.
In the movie, about a black man (John David Washington) who infiltrates the Ku Klux Klan, Lee inserted a moving documentary montage at the end of the film about the conflict in Charlottesville, reports Vulture. The movie included a powerful ending messaging about Heather Heyer, the young woman [who] was killed when a white nationalist ran her over with a car during the protests.
“It’s an ugly, ugly, ugly blemish on the United States of America,” Lee said at the press conference for the film.

I find it rather telling that your Universe apparently is centered around Trump and the Republican party. I also find it rather stunning that you are pig ignorant of who Spike Lee is or, indeed, any thing about the Cannes Film Festival. You need to get out more. A lot more.

There are quite a few hard core alt-right bigots around here. Since Trump won they stopped working overtime to conceal their true feelings and they openly mod up racist garbage cause they think it is "telling it like it is". Learn that lesson now and come to terms with that subset of the community here, don't be surprised in a few months when the realization sinks in on its own.
VLM and Jmorris are the two main douche-accounts, with a variety of others that bounce around on the spectrum. Khallow is either gone or lurking around shitposting as AC, but I think he was more of a corporate apologist type.

Actually, I haven't owned a TV for the last several years and there are very few movies I have gone to for at least that long.
Oh, FFS! My world is not in any way centered around celebrities. Even so, I at least am enough aware of the wider world beyond the tip of my nose that I know who Spike Lee is and what Cannes is about. Again, you need to get out more. Much more.
