What makes a man attractive? Hint: Look at his limbs
Women prefer a man with legs that are about half his height, according to previous research; scientists believe that is an evolutionary result of women wanting to choose only healthy men. Legs that are too short, for example, have been linked to type 2 diabetes. But other proportions, such as arm length to body height or whether the elbow and knee divide a limb in half, can also relate to a person's health. Do they influence women's views as well?
To answer this, researchers collected average body proportions from roughly 9000 men in the U.S. military and used them to create computer-generated images of male models (pictured). The scientists made the model's arms and legs slightly longer or shorter, and then asked more than 800 heterosexual U.S. women to rank each model's attractiveness.
How long the model's arms were relative to his height didn't seem to matter [open, DOI: 10.1098/rsos.171790] [DX], the team reports today in Royal Society Open Science. And women cared only a little about how the elbow or knee divided a limb. But as seen in previous work, women noticed if the legs made up more or less than half his height—and they didn't like it.

There's a large amount of truth to that. What women want isn't necessarily what they respond to. Which is a large part of why men are so confused by women. The physical does seem to play a role, but the moment a guy opens his mouth and turns out to be a wuss, the other stuff doesn't much matter.

Daddies' girls are shit to date as well. And having a good relationship with one's father is not at all the same from being a full-fledged daddy's girl. Daddy's girls are the kind of women who need to get passed-out drunk to be able to have sex with you because no matter your looks and credentials, if you don't remind her of daddy, then she won't be attracted to you even though she believes that she logically should be. In my experience there is plenty of overlap between horse girls and daddy's girls.
The smarter ones are aware of that fact but seem unable to break themselves of their preference. And this is not a misogynistic comment because Momma's Boys have the same problem.

Women want a strong, fit man that other men respect (or at least defer to). Women want to improve their social ranking and position through their mate, if possible. Women establish a rigid, ruthless pecking order amongst themselves. If their mate can bump them up a few notches, all the better. If you're a "people pleaser", cowardly, or shift your views and behaviours to uhhm, fit in, with your social circle you will have troubles attracting all but the bottom-tier social rejects.

Wow, I'm not sure where you're meeting these women, but from my experience*, women really are only interested in two things. One - they want to be w/ a guy who isn't a jerk. Not just in an obnoxious, foul-mouthed alcoholic kind of way, but someone who is kind, respectful, genuine and confident. Two - they want to be w/ a guy who's capable of loving another w/ his whole heart. Someone who, when *he's* found "the one," will devote himself to her and never lust after another woman.
When a woman finds that guy, looks and wallet thickness aren't as important.

Let me guess; you live in an area with high rates of employment, good jobs, and public transportation. In not so nice areas like where I live in the Midwest, 90% of women are looking to be taken care of, and they mostly already have kids.
