The Inquirer reports that Huawei has ended the support for bootloaders on its devices. This greatly reduces the utility and desireability of the phones for developers and others keen on customization. It's for our own good, apparently:
"In order to deliver the best user experience and prevent users from experiencing possible issues that could arise from ROM flashing, including system failure, stuttering, worsened battery performance, and the risk of data being compromised, Huawei will cease providing bootloader unlock codes for devices launched after May 25, 2018," the firm burbled.

The SCOTUS just upheld and owner of a product [may have been specific to cars, but I think it is anything] to fix, repair without warranty voiding.
It was noting the stickers on products that state "removing this sticker will void the warranty".

#metoo is more a damage control ploy from and for their own ladies who knew of the raperies going on and yet did nothing to stop it because that was the same system that made them rich and famous. Nobody outside of Hollywood knows or cares what #metoo is anyway. It makes one wonder why it took so goddamn long for it to become public, Weinstein and/or one of his orgy-buddies has HIV perhaps?

Live near any Islamic savages: nope
It is possible to live in Europe without having to deal with your Islamic savages, increasingly difficult to do so maybe (due to shithead governments plans to import the buggers), but still possible, oh, fwiw, there's more general local hatred for 'white settlers' of various other EU nationalities who're just as likely to rape and stab as any of your Islamic savages, and they've more 'form' for it locally.
