Facebook and Google are mapping big expansions in Chicago, where real estate searches by two of the nation's other technology giants have been the center of attention.
Menlo Park, Calif.-based Facebook is negotiating to lease more than 200,000 square feet in a recently constructed office tower at 151 N. Franklin St. in the Loop, according to sources.
Meanwhile, sources said, Google plans to add more than 100,000 square feet of office space in the city's Fulton Market district, where the company already has a large Midwest headquarters.
The new Facebook space alone would be large enough to accommodate more than 1,000 employees.

It's sad, I'm working very hard. But Obama gets all the credit. HORRIBLE "carnage" in Chicago, what did Obama ever do about it? 3,500 vicious murders in Chicago when he was President. I stopped it with a tweet. I tweeted, I will send in the Feds. And it stopped.
Google, they haven't been nice to me. Or to my people. They did fake searches to make Crooked Hillary look good. They tried to make her look good, there's just no way. They failed very badly at that. And they blocked the cyber of Gab, the app. They were a huge Social Media company, big hit from Google. The Daily Stormer, they blocked that one too. They call it "hate speech." And boy, do they hate speech.
But Google -- also Facebook -- is doing AMAZINGLY because of me. And because of our Republican Congress. We did the biggest Tax Cut in the history of the world. And it's the biggest gift our corporations have ever gotten. Trillions and trillions of dollars. Alphabet, people don't know this, it's a much bigger company that owns Google. And we saved Alphabet A BILLION DOLLARS in the first quarter. They're going to save a lot more, Facebook too. And that's because of what we did. So that's pretty good. That's pretty good. We're taking back our Country. We're Making America Great Again. But you need to keep voting Republican, we need to keep those seats in Congress!!!!
