The quality varies but good ones are out there. The list starts out with the obvious destinations of Project Gutenberg and LibriVox and is topped off with a mention of your local public library, which should not be overlooked.

    Careful, you're on a slippery slope that leads to becoming a vegetarian (gasp!) Then you might feel virtuous that you're helping to save the world from Global Warming by eating less meat, thus reducing the need to raise cattle, which will reduce methane emissions from, well, you know where. Animal noises. Sorry I spoiled your dinner even more. The price of progress, you know.

    But see, if we stop raising cattle, there will be no pigs to see over the other animals (which there will be none of) and therefore the idea of the whole Animal Farm story will become lost to future generations!
