The National Park Service has approved an application for a year anniversary commemoration of Charlottesville's violent white supremacist rally to be held in Washington, DC.
DC's WUSA9 reported that NPS approved the application but has not yet issued permits for the rally set to be held at Lafayette Square, a seven-acre park just north of the White House. The event is to be organized by Jason Kessler, the organizer of the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville where 32-year-old Heather Heyer was hit and killed by an alleged white supremacist.
"This year we have a new purpose," Kessler said, discussing the upcoming rally. "That's to talk about the civil rights abuse that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia last year."
Kessler claimed it wasn't his fault that "that stuff happened," and said that in the months since the rally ostensibly intended to "defend" a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee, "white civil rights" have taken a hit.
"We're not able to peacefully assemble. We're not able to speak," he told WUSA. "I keep telling people if your right to rally and your right to protest means that someone else's life might be in danger, then it is no longer free speech but it is hate speech."

Why are you treating one ethnic or sexual group any different than another? If one group has a rights or pride rally, then they all get to have them.

Right now whites get preferential treatment when it comes to civil rights. So shut the fuck up with your asinine suggestion that "all get to have them." Your unstated premise, that equality of treatment is a current reality, is a lie born of your desire to hate. DIAF, you racist fuck.
Whites have no fucking need to have a civil rights rally, because they can, for example, walk through a random neighborhood at any random time and not have to worry that the cops will be called on them for being black. Or, they can drive to work in a nice car without worrying about getting pulled over on a pretext.

Note the typical pattern of racism here. It's fine to discriminate against whites because of some flimsy excuse - less harassment by police. Well, isn't the harassment by police based on the very similar flimsy excuse that ethnic minorities commit more crime than their white brethren? You're just as racist, but it's fine in your viewpoint because you're merely racist against an approved out-group. What racist acts any different?
So given this brazen display of bigotry and racism, why shouldn't whites use the same tools that other ethnic groups use? Is it their problem that you can't take in turn what you dish out?

It's alright - you can wake up now. I've been pulled over on a pretext so many times, I couldn't count them. I've posted about my son's run in with some assholes who wanted to search his car. It happens to (gasp) WHITE PEOPLE!!
You may or may not make a good case that after being pulled over, a black person is more likely to be arrested, assaulted, or even killed. And, other people might argue your case. But, only in your imagination are white people "safe" from arbitrary and capricious run ins with John Law.
Of course, that goes back to the old saying, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Those who would like to create a police state are only too happy to see the peasants squabbling among themselves. Divide and conquer. While you're whining and bitching about how good white people have it, the cops are busy increasing their power, and their authority to use that power.
When the police chief holds his little pep rally, telling his troops that the court needs more money, he doesn't tell them to target more blacks. He tells them to go find people from whom money can be extracted. Police state. The cops don't care a whole lot who has the money, they just need it to make their quota.
