In a 2017 report that went widely unnoticed, a female captain in the Australian Army recommended a novel solution to combat stress: sex. More specifically, she wondered whether making sexual options, potentially including prostitution, available to soldiers in combat would help troops deal with downrange stress. You can read the report yourself here.
My understanding is that the original source of the article was in the Australian Army's official blog, but was pulled after it became, for reasons that are clear if you read the piece, extremely controversial.
Here's the thing: the author is not wrong. Well, not entirely, anyway.
As the article states, science shows that "sex helps satisfy personal, social and physical needs, reduces stress and is inextricably linked to physical and mental wellbeing." The thing is, the military brass doesn't see it that way.
Capitalism, is there anything it can't solve?

Internalized misogyny cannot explain this. There have been no attempts by feminism to explain the prevalence of women Trump voters.
But watch. Somehow this will, yet again, be the fault of all men, who must be collectively and severally punished.
It's a helluva scam. Get women to do things that feminism regards as evil, then lash out at men who had nothing to do with it and even opposed it.
Anyone still wondering whether feminism hasn't become anything more than a reactionary right-wing authoritarian hate group?
I'm failing to see any deep philosophical basis for this shit. Feminism is bankrupt.

Not sure what you're going on about. Feminists disagree on prostitution [wikipedia.org]. In my experience, the younger one/more recent views tend to be very strongly pro-sex work, using "SWERF" (Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminist) as a slur to essentially call people who oppose sex work not real feminists.
