According to a new survey of over 1,000 people across the country, 58 percent say they sleep in the nude.

Not surprisingly, men are more likely to sleep naked than women – though more than half of women still report sleeping without any clothes. Only 39 percent of Boomers sleep in the buff, compared with nearly 65 percent of Millennials, the survey found.

Relationships seem to relax people's sleeping habits, with 72 percent of nude sleepers report being in a relationship, compared to only only half of single people. More than half of people who sleep nude report that their partner does, too.

[...] Nearly 70 percent of respondents who sleep naked said they do so because they're more comfortable without clothes. About 58 percent said nude sleeping was relaxing, and 54 percent said it improves their sleep. (Roughly 15 percent said they sleep naked to keep their genitals "free and happy.")

So... all? or Nothing?

I sleep in loose cotton PJ bottoms because my GF's 14 year old daughter stays with us frequently and that would be awkward, not to mention an 03:00 run to the bathroom is cold. I also have trouble getting a foot in the master bathroom or the closet in our shared bedroom.

Midnight bathroom trips for pee? Use those plastic laundry detergent bottles with the nice large cap on the top. [dollartree.com] Prevents splatters. You can keep it next to the bed, and and answer the nature call bedside, and not get all woke up, mess with bright lights, cold floors, and stubbing toes on the bed post.

    Comes in several colors.

The nicely fitting lid will keep the place tidy. And by the time stuff begins to grow in there and stink, you will have another coming available from the laundry area. I find the dollar sized bottle perfectly sized for a day's pee collection, neatly poured down the toilet or outside in the bushes the next day.

No, I am not kidding. I've been doing this for years, as I have some prostate problems, and the pee won't come out in a neat stream and I end up most of the time getting half the piss on ME. I really like that bottle, as it keeps my business tidy.

I use am orange juice bottle. A hook on the table next to the bed gives it a place to be without getting in the way. Swap it with a new one once a week or so. Empty it, wash it and throw it in the recycling. Works great. Better than a midnight stumble through the house for a piss.

Same prostate issue here...I use a hospital-style pee bottle. Big easy-to-hit mouth with a hinged snap-on lid. A few bucks at the pharmacy -- or "free" if you've had a hospital stay, because the hospital doesn't want it back.

Eww. I used to do that when I drove truck OTR, but no thanks.

My GF would literally freak at the thought. I have been a personal care attendant for an uncle who suffered a debilitating stroke and had to utilize such measures so it is not just squeamishness that is speaking, but just plain NO. If I had aiming issues or such I'd just sit down and doze. I spent a summer as a child riding shotgun with a long haul trucker uncle, and he had such a setup for certain places when there wasn't a rest stop and you couldn't stop, but even in that environment it wasn't the first option.

"because my GF's 14 year old daughter stays with us frequently"

    This.

Sorry, people, but the days of being able to strut around and dangle your genitals in people's view for a laugh are over. You don't want that kind of accusation against you. If there are kids or women in the house who aren't intimately familiar with you, you wanna put underwear on.

Because I guarantee that the day you think you hear a burglar in the hallway and rush out to protect your family and friends, is the day that you're not wearing any underwear but don't notice, and the same day that the young female cousin/whatever comes out to see what the strange noise she just heard outside the bathroom while she was showering was, and the two facts won't go down well together.

Honestly, you're an adult. You don't have to take your pants off to show the world that. Especially if you have visitors, are staying at your girlfriend's, etc. etc. etc.

Geez man....what"s going on in your head? You think people being naked is nasty. Or maybe you just have a thing for 14 year old girls.
