According to a new survey of over 1,000 people across the country, 58 percent say they sleep in the nude.

Not surprisingly, men are more likely to sleep naked than women – though more than half of women still report sleeping without any clothes. Only 39 percent of Boomers sleep in the buff, compared with nearly 65 percent of Millennials, the survey found.

Relationships seem to relax people's sleeping habits, with 72 percent of nude sleepers report being in a relationship, compared to only only half of single people. More than half of people who sleep nude report that their partner does, too.

[...] Nearly 70 percent of respondents who sleep naked said they do so because they're more comfortable without clothes. About 58 percent said nude sleeping was relaxing, and 54 percent said it improves their sleep. (Roughly 15 percent said they sleep naked to keep their genitals "free and happy.")

So... all? or Nothing?

Yes, actually. The lower body mass and muscle mass of women means that we feel the cold more intensely. It's pretty common that I will be freezing while my fiance is complaining about it being too hot. This leads to the classic nocturnal ballet of me creeping closer to him for bodyheat, and him shuffling away to cool off... even to the point that he's fallen off the end of the bed, gone around and gotten back in my side! Wacky hi jinks!

Do him a favor and stop it. He's defending his fertility [wikipedia.org]

The temperature of the testes is maintained at 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), i.e. two degrees below the body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit). Higher temperatures affect spermatogenesis.

    Hah, we do something similar.
We're snuggled, and I overheat so I throw the covers mostly off and drift asleep. I wake up freezing because she's rolled over and taken the sheets with her so I've lost them and the body heat. Pull the covers back over and wake up sweating with her snuggled behind me. A ceiling fan helps even things out some, but not quite enough. (still, I'm a sucker for snuggling so I'm not going for space, but damn she turns into a blast furnace once she's asleep)

Try having separate twin size sheets and blankets, end the fight over the covers. I hear that little tip has saved more than one marriage.

It's how my wife and I have settled on, and generally works well though you don't get as much snuggling. As for clothing at night, I've slept naked for the longest time and she used to most of the time excepting that time of the month. Now she almost always wears panties and claims she feels weird without them. Age and not wanting any more kids. One is enough. At least as I approach 60, I don't mind not getting laid every day.

We have often found this arrangement in hotels in Europe. Beds together so it's easy to arrange things together if you want, but also separate enough for different temperature.

You may feel the cold more intensely, but it (on average) affects you less: https://www.erchonia.com/how-men-and-women-store-fat-differently/ [erchonia.com]

Women also store more subcutaneous fat—fat that’s under the skin and provides a layer of insulation over the muscles

Hmm, looks like we have somebody who needs to be checked for regular menstruation. It sounds like you should seek testosterone HRT immediately. It will solve your problem of being too cold.

Then we'll need to send you into therapy, because sleeping with men like that obviously makes you an incel. You're mentally ill. It's for your own good.

This is the stupidest troll I've ever read. I'm a woman (and my menstruation is fine, thank you), and if I'm sleeping with people that's kind of the opposite of being involuntarily celibate.
