As technology and society change the work we do changes with it. Some people with lots of data about what work people do have picked out five up and coming in demand jobs in Australia for 2018 showing which career paths are likely to be worth aiming for in the next decade. The positions have been described as "Customer success manager", "Data scientist", "Full stack engineer", "Cyber security", and "Experience designer". This will primarily be of interest to IT graduates and anyone already in IT looking to cash in on the changing direction of the industry.

No. The production servers are in the cloud; backups are automated snapshots, and there isn't any SysAdm. CI admin is done by H-1Bs. Testing is done by a combination of outsourced teams (because they're cheap), student interns (for free), and domestic charities that employ disabled veterans (charity makes the company look good to investors). The data analyst today is the most junior hire who will be fired tomorrow.

Seriously do you even work in the tech industry?

Splitting hairs because you lost the argument?

AWS has a region in Sydney. There's your cloud.

If you don't like the term H-1B then substitute your preferred word for foreigner.

That would normally be "457" (pronounced fou faiv seven), though that visa class has since been replaced by the 482. The term 457 is still in use though.

So full of answers - shitty answers, come of that - that you have no room for questions, much less relevant question.
You're no more intellectually alive than the tape use for backup in Australian IT.
