eBay Partners with Red Pocket Mobile to Pair a Low-Cost Wireless Plan with Every Phone Sold:

“Red Pocket Mobile is the natural partner for us to launch our add-on wireless plan,” said David Grim, Category Manager at eBay. “Because Red Pocket works on all of America’s major networks, their service can apply to virtually all of the millions of phones sold on eBay.”

[...] Red Pocket’s most popular plan, by contrast, is just $30 per month. That plan provides 5GB of LTE data plus unlimited data at slower speeds, along with unlimited talk, text, and international calling to over 70 countries.

[...] For the occasional user, Red Pocket’s Basic Plan on eBay provides 100 minutes, 100 texts and 500MB of LTE data on any major network for just $5 per month.

Red Pocket has already sold thousands of its Bring Your Own Phone starter kits on eBay, where customers rate Red Pocket’s service 4.9 out of 5 stars. Red Pocket's sky-high customer rating is an extraordinary achievement in an industry that leaves most consumers frustrated with their provider.

    Luddite.

If you don't have a smart phone in 2018, you are a business and social outcast.

And I don't mean you have to be glued to FB and Instagram all the time. I use my phone extensively to make money. Good luck in the dark ages.

Because I'm sure no one is tracking you on the computer you posted this from. Grow up.

Lemme guess... renting it as an odd-shaped internet-enabled vibrator?

    Luddite.

    Consumertard.

You are a perfect example of narrow minded religious "there can only be one way, the way large companies tell us to" type thinking.

You are literally saying that even if someone has absolutely, positively, no need for a cell phone they should spend $$$ for one anyway. Wasteful and disgusting. Or perhaps you think even the most trite and ephemeral needs should justify such waste.

You use your cell phone to make money? Great, but I seriously question if that is the only way you could do whatever it is you do. If you are constantly on-the-go, and the mobility is a true benefit for you, then great. Not everybody needs it. More likely you are addicted to the constant hypnotic scrolling. I am aware there are an increasing number of "smart-phone only" apps, but these are mostly artificial limitations intended to sell cell phones.

When I was a kid we didn't even HAVE internet or personal computers. If I needed find out something, I had to figure it out myself. I've seen huge leaps in innovation and technology, and I have seen that technology regress and fall apart.

I think YOU are the one who needs to grow up.
