Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey wants to fix 'filter bubbles' on the social network
[...] Dorsey noted that the site by design allows users to follow certain accounts, which could skew their perception of the world. If users followed a certain topic or interest, they might see more tweets from people with different viewpoints, he said.
Twitter needs to give users more tools to break down these bubbles, Dorsey acknowledged.
But as social media sites face allegations that it's suppressing conservative voices, these companies are also grappling with free speech concerns.

"Comment Below Threshold"? Repost!
That's why Capitalism is better than Democracy.
A delusional, NPC mob will easily vote to quash the sentient few. That is what happens when the Men-with-Guns are controlled by "votes", freely given out to everyone and his dead dog. When you can just vote for more "free" stuff, you receive no signal that your choices are bad and will end up destroying you.
The dumber a person is, the less a person is able to defer gratification, which compounds the problem: It's much easier for the dumbfucks to vote for lots of candy now, rather than eat their damn meat and veggies instead, only to enjoy a treat once a week; the larger the suffrage (including the inviting of the 3rd world into the West), the more this is a problem.
