As the days go by our hard won freedoms and liberty are slowly being eroded. In Europe a crushing blow has been made to freedom of speech with a European Court of Human Rights upholding a conviction for saying that the person known as Muhammad ten centuries ago was technically a paedophile based on information in historical texts. The statement was made in reference to Muhammad's marriage to a six year old child name called Aisha. The court found that “Presenting objects of religious worship in a provocative way capable of hurting the feelings of the followers of that religion could be conceived as a malicious violation of the spirit of tolerance, which was one of the bases of a democratic society.”. In giving its ruling that "Muhammad was not a worthy subject of worship" the court has additionally demonstrated a complete misunderstanding as to the religion involved which worships "Allah", a word meaning 'God', not 'Muhammad' who claimed to be a prophet of this god. Freedom of speech is dying.

Europe appears to be having some trouble dealing with its want to protect and uphold the ability of women to consent and also allow some of the migrants to feel welcomed in their country. Between Sweden, Germany, and France there are troves of articles on this. France had a pretty well known case regarding a migrant doing an 11 year old and claiming it was consensual because she didn't tell him no in Arabic. In the states we have issues because the police told some women to wear more cloths to avoid the bad men out there and the response was the slut walk. At the same time a 10 year old boy got raped in Sweden for dressing "provocatively" by a migrant and the consensus seemed to be that he should have been wearing more than his swimming suit in the pool.
We in the west have come to accept the problems with the Christians, we need to be just as critical of Islam. The west seems to fall into the trap of hating itself so anything that comes from the west is inherently bad, the west needs to realize that other places have bad stuff too.

Nah, it isn't about hating ourselves it is about not wanting bigotry to govern our nation.
You prejudiced jackasses always point to problems that occur all over and then apply the labels to entire populations. THAT is the problem. No one is saying Muslim immigrants are all pure hearted and shouldn't be punished according to Western laws. No one that isn't insane anyway.
I know it is a nuanced topic that requires you to use your brain, but too bad. That is just how most human topics are, either use the old noodle and react properly or use the old feelz and probably react like an jerk.

It wouldn't be as big a problem if this were occurring all over. The west has been getting far better in recent decades in regards to its treatment of women, and now in places taking influxes of refugees crime is once again on the rise.
I don't want my community to be overrun by a large amount of people that lack a high school education and follow a backwards religion, I don't care of they are from the middle east or if they are white mobile home people. When you bring in people who cannot and will not conform to your culture you will have massive issues, especially when their beliefs are so fundamentally different from the host culture.
Fortunately here in the US we mostly get people from SE Asia or Central/South America who are pretty compatible with us, but Buddhism and Catholicism aren't too problematic. The Hmong I worked with in Alaska never caused any problems, and with the exception of a few individuals I have never had any issue with my Mexican neighbors.

If you import 10s of thousands of fighting age males from a violent and regressive culture, who refuse to integrate, who instead push their own laws and beliefs, and who victimize your native population. You are going to have a bad time. Violence in Europe is inevitable at this point.
