The TRACED Act, sponsored by Sens. John Thune (R-SD), Ed Markey (D-MA), and Roger Wicker (R-MS), would dramatically increase the penalty per robocall to up to $10,000. Previously, violators were charged with up to $1,500 per call. Currently, the Federal Communications Commission can only prosecute violators over inauthentic calls that were placed in the past year. This bill increases that time frame to three years. In previous letters to the senators, the commission said that "even a one-year longer statute of limitations for enforcement. . . would improve the Commission's enforcement efforts against knowing and willful violators."

Earlier this year, the FCC inflicted a $120 million fine on a robocall kingpin. It was one of the largest fines ever implemented for robocall violations, and it signified that the federal government would prioritize lessening the burden of these calls on consumers. This bill generally gives the FCC more power to act on these calls, and this new power has the potential to dissuade others from placing them.

I gladly await the public execution of Rachel from Cardholder Services and her sister, Heather from Account Services.

The world awaits the spectacle of every last Microsoft Tech Support You Are Being Having a Virus turd strung up by their tiny little testicals.

The serene silence ensuing after everyone that robocalls someone just to give them dead air, is locked in to solitary confinement for the rest of their natural and unnatural lives, will be glorious.

When each one of those robotic sounding IRS scambots are torn to pieces, and each piece thrown in to a fire, there will be celebrations and cake will be served!

One day they will catch that happy sounding bitch that knows your name and can repeat it over and over with the exact same inflection and sound artifacts: [Yourname? :)] (Who is this?) [Yourname? :)] (Who.... Is... This?!) ["Oh, you are such a hard person to to get a hold of :) Now let me begin my advertising spiel"]. And when that day comes, with the screaming and tightening of thumb screws, we will show them we are not really as pleasant as the last person they talked to!

Each and every one of those idiots claiming they are doing a "Political Survey" and want to know if I think Donald Trump is doing a good job or not, and then keep calling back every several hours for weeks on end with no way to tell them to fuck their supposed survey, will get their answer in the form of blood inducing whippings - at random intervals with no warning and no way to escape.

But that's not going to happen is it? Congress or whoever is just going to take some more bribes and claim the problem is just soooo hard and they can't do aaaaanything about it.
