from the alcoholic-mouthwash dept.

An elderly friend died last year and among other things I inherited a couple of bottles of Creme de Menthe. For anyone unfamiliar, it's bright green and very minty -- 60 proof / 30% alcohol by volume. I'm not a regular drinker, and I am one of those weirdos that believes in waste-not, want-not, so I felt obligated to find a way to (slowly) consume it. My eventual choice was to pour a shot or two over a bowl of chocolate ice cream -- not bad, compare to mint chocolate-chip ice cream, with a little kick.

Any other suggestions?

It's called karma-whoring. A big-boy would spend 10 minutes on google or bing and find the answers himself, instead of fishing for mod points.

Pretty much every frequent user has between 40-50 karma, and it's capped at 50. There is no reason to karma whore.

This is why it should be uncapped or raised. So we can use it as a highscore-meter.

Or we could just do what I already suggested once and give the user a button to voluntarily reset their karma to zero, or some other low starting value. It might seem crazy, but I think some people would use it, for the reasons given by the parent. I would.

Personally -- I like the submission. Not everything has to be serious all the time.

Personally, I like Creme de Menthe - preferably blended with chocolate or mint chocolate chip ice cream. Perhaps it could be used as inspiration for a decent GTK3 theme

You lie. Bing is for the lowest of the proles. And, Google is sinking almost as low. Big boys use the duck. Real men just reach through the screen, and manually drag answers out of the web.

I used to ask CowboyNeal. That guy knew everything.
