The research co-led by Drs. Christelle Not and Benoit Thibodeau from the Department of Earth Sciences and the Swire Institute of Marine Science, The University of Hong Kong, highlights a dramatic weakening of the circulation during the 20th century that is interpreted to be a direct consequence of global warming and associated melt of the Greenland Ice-Sheet. This is important for near-future climate as slower circulation in the North Atlantic can yield profound change on both the North American and European climate but also on the African and Asian summer monsoon rainfall. The findings were recently published in the prestigious journal Geophysical Research Letters.

While not as pronounced as the 20th century trend, the signal might confirm that this period was also characterized by a weaker circulation in the North Atlantic, which implies a decrease in the transfer of heat toward Europe, contributing to the cold temperature of this period. However, more work is needed to validate this hypothesis.

It had been a grueling day. Todd had been made to work overtime, even though he had barely gotten any sleep the previous night. So, when he went home, all he wanted to do was relax. Well, that was the plan, anyway.
"How could you do this!? How could you use them!?" Todd screamed.
"They were just sitting there in plain view! I couldn't help myself," his brother, Rodham, replied.
"But it's my house, and I collected those for myself! What am I going to do now!?" bellowed Todd, as he looked around the room for any that could still be used.
Indeed, what would Todd do now? Anyone would be dissatisfied - no, furious - when placed into this situation. All he had wanted to do was play and relax after a hard day at work, and yet when he arrived, he found that they had all been broken.
Broken. Even a cursory glance around the room would tell one that not a single one could still be utilized. Rodham hadn't left anything for his dear brother to play with. Not even a single one.
They, you see, had once been moving, living, and breathing... until Rodham found them. The children were too cute for him to resist, so, not even thinking about his brother, he systematically toyed with them one after another until none remained. Oh, he toyed with them.
Rodham had started out by slamming his penis deep into the anus or vagina of the child he chose. Then, once he became tired of that, his fists would begin raining down upon them until they were black and blue. Not satisfied with just that, Rodham would then take extra-gritty sandpaper to their genitals until they were ruined. Finally, he would place his hands on their heads and twist until a sickening snapping sound was heard. This was the procedure Rodham followed, until all 37 of the children had been expended.
Naturally, the children had screamed during this process. But, Rodham, being the kind gentleman that he was, simply smiled brightly in the face of their screams and cries. Rodham loved when they screamed for their mommies. Rodham loved it even more when they begged for mercy. Rodham loved it even more than that when they realized that begging for mercy was futile and their screams turned into ones of agony. Just like this, all the children disappeared one after another, and poor Todd was left with nothing...
What would Todd do? What toys could this poor man play with now? The answer was uncertain. In fact, the only certain thing about this situation was that Rodham would be evicted.
Rodham would be evicted, but Todd's hopes and dreams would remain shattered...

No problem. Lots of "weak", "might" and "implied" in the summary. Should have tried harder to conceal that this was an early stage hypothesis.
