Creator of viral glitter bomb video admits parts of it were staged
This week, it seemed the entire Internet rejoiced after a former NASA engineer created a custom glitter bomb designed to strike back against package thieves. His impressive invention resulted in a hilarious video of would-be criminals being coated in glitter and having their nostrils assaulted with a fart spray. But it seems the clip, which racked up more than 42 million views in just a few days, was a little too good to be true -- its creator admits parts of it were staged, seemingly without his knowledge.
Mark Rober cut around 90 seconds from the video and reuploaded it to remove a segment in which a friend of a friend borrowed the device. As it turns out, that person recruited their own friends to pose as victims. Rober apologized for the ruse.
"Ultimately, I am responsible for the content that goes on my channel and I should have done more here," he wrote in an apology tweet. "I can vouch that the reactions were genuine when the package was taken from my house."

He said, "trust but verify." And we trust NASA so much, right? But Russia is doing the verify on that one. On, did they really land on the Moon. Many people say "no."
Does anyone remember 2001? The special effects, so amazing. And maybe Stanley Kubrick did some movies for NASA too. He gave a very interesting interview with T. Patrick Murray. And maybe he was completely out of his mind by then. Totally flipped his lid from drugs and everything else. But he said the landings were fake. He said he faked them. And if anybody could fake them -- very beautifully -- he was the guy!!!

You do have a very good point Mr. President.
In the hollywood movie Apollo 13, Tom Hanks and his costars are depicted as floating weightlessly around their capsule and into the Lunar Lander.
It turns out those scenes were filmed about NASA's "Vomit Comet", a high-performance jet whose highly-trained pilots fly it repeatedly in ballastic arcs so as to experience short periods of true weightlessness.
Now I'm not saying that _proves_ anything, Mr. President. Not by any means! But it sure does provide food for thought.

(cont) By the way, Stanley Kubrick. He said, "oh, I'm drug free, 100%." But, very hard to believe that one!!
