If someone with type 1 diabetes gets AIDS, would they cancel eachother out? Seems like a doctor mengele type experiment, doubt it's been tried, but may have happen by chance anyway.

Type-1 diabetese is where your immune system destroys beta cells, which are not recreated by the body. Once gone, they're gone.
AIDS may prevent you from developing type-1 diabetese, but typically if you don't have it by the time you're 15 you're not going to get it, so I'm not sure what to say about that.
