What is your most significant New Year's resolution for 2019?
[Ed. Note: A new poll went up just a few days ago to decide "Book Club picks for Jan. and Feb. 2019" and I didn't want to interrupt that process. Further, our polls are limited to 8 choices and this submission had many more than that. Given the timeliness of the topic, I decided to run this as a story, instead. Have Fun!]

If you need help in C, let me know. I have resources for you. C's a good language. Well, except for the functions in string.h.

I thought about using Substrings for our CVI code, but it being a large evil corporation with a lot of eyes on the code I would probably have to sanitize the license, banner, and comments. Does the unlicense permit that? Your code could be used to enable baby-killing weapons' systems!

Yep, it should be fine. Unlicense is basically just a declaration of public domain. You can do whatever you like to SubStrings :^)
