Privacy advocates have been on about how big data and large datasets can be be used against the population for decades. Now key data released by the immigration department may provide the key to bringing barbaric crimes out into the open. Data released by the Government shows thousands of child brides allowed by immigration. Accounts by some of the victims detail how they were used to gain access to America even though they were underage. While some senators have sworn to close the loopholes used to bring child brides into the US we can only expect more of this type of activity to come to light in the future as the public engages in analysis of data released by governments.

Child Brides Tracked Through Immigration Data

Well, any online forum or website abused by predators, traffickers, has been considered by the government to be a criminal, not a victim*, and been seized and its operators punished.

Now the the government has been abused by predators, traffickers, presumably it will self-seize and self-punish.

If not, I look forward to the sophistry involved in explaining why "it's totally different."

    -----
    * Similar logic would be involved in arresting the telephone company because someone used the telephone to place the order for the human they intended to traffic. Shut all the telephone companies down if you care about the children?

It is totally different, because the forum doesn't have much money behind it, while the phone company does, and is a service the judge uses daily to contact his mistress.

    I can do better.

Now the the government has been abused by predators, traffickers, presumably it will self-seize and self-punish.

Why would that happen? The government obviously is the responsible party in the room and need not obey its own laws.
