NPR covers a recent recruitment campaign by the British military.

Are you a "binge gamer"?

An unfocused office prankster?

A "me me me millennial"?

If so, the British army wants to recruit you.

It's all part of a new advertising campaign unveiled by the U.K. Defense Ministry aimed at 16- to 25-year-olds "looking for a job with purpose," according to a statement.

In videos, radio spots and posters, the advertisements take negative stereotypes about Generation Z — and their predecessors, the notorious millennials — and rebrand them as strengths. Self-centeredness becomes "self-belief," phone obsession becomes "focus" and selfies become "confidence."

The posters are hillarious, worth a peek at the original article.

Now now, women have their place in today's armies.
    Feminists are needed.
Someone has to be the first meat info the grinder on the battlefield so it may as well be those we won't miss.

All armies should permit conjugal visits but only in designated places where both sign consent forms and are sober and unmarried (unless to each other).

But men and women serving together, I've been hearing a lot of super horror-stories and petty revenge tales of he-said, she-said bullshit. A lot of Navy dudes I met, who are married and totally not gay, said that allowing more and more females to serve aboard ships fucked the Navy up.

I was also quite taken aback by this statement. I read it and then noticed-- the username. I just couldn't get past his statement, a non-gay man in the Navy? T-thats a tough pill to swallow. I mean I've been with EF since the beginning. Gassing the jews, prostitute shitting his bed, race war now, and it was all just so innocent. But such a misstatement as this I-- I just cannot accept.

"IN the Navy!" You know the Rear Admiral wanted to make that song by the Village People the official anthem of the Navy, until someone explained it to him. That someone obviously was not Ethanol_fueled. Carry on, Sailor! Stay away from the Marines.
