The army corpse of engineers has done projects like this before, and they can do it a hell of lot cheaper than commercial sources. And hmm, they just happen to work for one of those guys right? Further the army accepts applications from non-citizens. So it isn't like there is a shortage of available labor. Hell, you can recruit within twenty feet of the fucking cement mixer.

The Civilian Conservation Corps is still on the books. So you don't even have to fuck up the army to do this. The dreamers want a job and a path to citizenship, We got thousands of them, and shovels are cheap. All you have to do is extend the legal framework for military visa's to the CCC, buy 50k shovels and five thousand concrete forms and you've got all the labor you need at minimum wage. The rest of it is depreciated over a long term with a public works bond.

Public works projects have always been a part of the United States, and they have always used immigrant labor. There are thousands of retired army guys who could handle the logistics of this without breaking a sweat. It is certainly within the rights of a nation to defend its borders. We have no demographics on how many people die crossing that desert, but discouraging them from starting in the first place is actually a humanitarian endeavor. We can say that because we know that in two weeks, two died, and that gives us a terrifying statistical sample.

This whole thing is a pissing contest between a bunch of mobbed up beauty contestants. It is about a fair and equitable distribution of graft. Real people are suffering because they won't decide how to divide up the skim. There is nothing more to it than that. There is no red or blue, just purple.

The truth is I'd prefer the company of immigrants, and good ole' boys both, to the shit stains in congress. And both with the company of a lawyer could hammer out a deal that both could agree with in an afternoon at the local cantina. The only side worth taking on this, is the side of the people getting fucked. And that goes for both the immigrants, the federal workers, and the peoples whose safety is being compromised.

This isn't an RNC vs. DNC thing. This is a real people, vs. oligarch knob polisher thing.

Amusing. 50k shovels and five thousand concrete forms. It's easy to see that you're an experienced concrete man.
