Anon from European country here. Uhm.. I liked your Bernie, the Ron Paul dude who looked like Magneto from the X-Men movies and if he would really do it instead of teasing Lawrence Lessig (creative-commons dude). HOWEVER, who I want to watch as your president on TV next, would preferably be uhm.. some of your Wrestlers (only if they keep the Wrestler persona in office) or perhaps one of your mega-corps (aren't they legally persons over-there?). Yes Mr. Google! Yes Mr. Amazon! "Alexa please direct my calls to...", oh hey what about Oprah!

As a number of people have pointed out, President Camacho, for all his many faults, is doing a few things most presidents these days aren't:
1. He by all appearances is genuinely concerned about the many problems facing his country and is trying to solve them.
2. His solution revolves around finding the smartest and most knowledgeable people he can to address the problem.
3. He remains remarkably accessible to his constituents, to the point where anyone who wants to can show up to a kegger with the president.
4. He willingly steps aside when a better leader shows up, and supports that successor.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a compiler is a good guy with a compiler.

The more I see of this country the more I think that movie was a documentary disguised as a comedy...
A lot of the times, they are. Try 'Candide' by Voltaire, for example. That shit was hilarious at the time.
