A school in Québec has created a zone where kids can be turbulent and throw each other to the ground:

Some Quebec elementary schools experiment with letting kids play rough

[...] Bernier believes that, rather than encouraging violence, the project actually prevents it by showing kids how to expend their energy in an appropriate way.

“We’re not seeing (violence), because we ban violence,” she said. “The kids who are there to hit are immediately taken out,” she said.

Lenore Skenazy, a New York-based author and speaker who founded the website Free Range Kids, said humans and almost every animal species, have been play-fighting since the dawn of time.

“To act like that is automatically aggressive and evil and cruel is to misinterpret a basic stage of childhood,” she said in a phone interview.

For safety reasons they forbid kicks, punches and they teach kids how to fall.

I feel that this measure has the possibility to be of immense help to the young boys that are struggling in schools. I don't know about the situation in the states but here in Québec boys are less successful than girls at getting a high school diploma, and it only gets worse from there.

Put each kid into a transparent plastic inflatable sphere. They can all roll their sphere around in a large room and try to collide with other kids in large clear plastic spheres.

Actually I actually thought it sounded like a lot of fun when I wrote it. And pretty difficult for anyone to get seriously hurt.

I played bubble soccer in Auckland; you can get hurt playing that.

We would take two skate boards: sit on one and put our feet on the other and go down the paved road picking up speed, then turn to go down a 'culvert' thing (concrete entrance that slopes down to a drain that is in a concrete bowl) and into the bowl and fly out the other side.

    GREAT FUN!

You don't see kids doing that kind of thing anymore.

Too many incels, too many feminists, too many abortions, too many school shootings, too many helicopter parents. You don't see kids anymore, do you? They seem to be kept at Fort Knox or some such.

During my preteen and early teen years, I saw it as my duty to shock a couple adults every day. Most often, it was my parents, but I took every opportunity to shock someone, anyone. My kid brother and I took turns throwing each other out of the barn loft doors when people arrived. Hit the ground, writhe in pain and scream - then hop up and run away before Mama got there to beat you with the broom. Those were good times.

      Take three skate boards.
      Sit on one.
Put a foot on each of the others.
      Spread legs.
      Head down hill.
Hope not to hit any lamp or sign post.
