CNet:
Review site Rotten Tomatoes is instituting some changes, leading many to believe it's responding to the recent controversy over the site's Captain Marvel page. But Paul Yanover, president of Fandango, which owns the site, told CNET that's not the whole story.
In case you were snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, and thus missed the recent controversy, here's a recap. Captain Marvel doesn't come out until March 8, but users were already leaving negative comments about the film on Rotten Tomatoes, a process dubbed "review bombing." Many recent comments seemed to come from those who are angry at star Brie Larson.
The movie review site has removed users' ability to leave reviews or to indicate they are not interested in seeing a film [EDIT: before it comes out].

Terrible doesn't do it justice, it was insufferable excrement.
The objection is that SJW's hijack existing properties rather than creating their own. They can't spread their ideology by creating their own properties because they are a tiny minority that grants themselves unearned priviledge. Every franchise SJW's hijack fails, it's not that there isn't a market for the franchises just that there is no market for "woke" politics. I can confidently predict you'll see a higher box office for the new Ghostbusters. [washingtontimes.com]

Oh, yes, those kind of Imaginary Properties.

LOL!!!!!!!!!
That's your complaint! They "hijack" properties? You mean like the Ghostbusters was an actual property, and they hijacked it for their own agenda? You're a fucking idiot. They obviously bought the rights to do it, and it was completely legal. No highjacking or pirating involved.
If you're complaining that Hollywood in general is no longer original, then get the fuck in line. They're bringing back aged actors from teenage angst series to attempt to repeat the success. There's that show about the witches that ended years ago, and they're going to redo it all over again, just with newer, younger, prettier girls I guess. You act is if only specially authorized people, that conform to your worldview and politics, are "allowed" to make a shitty remake of something Hollywood already did. There exists no such social contract my poor little snowflake, and there is no evil insidious CTRL-LEFT agenda when they do it. It's just entertainment execs squeezing every penny out of existing IP, without giving a fuck about your special snowflake feelings.
Do what a LOT of people are now doing.... not watching the shit that comes out of Hollywood anymore.
Technically, lunchtime is at any moment. It's just a wave function.
