Israel’s Beresheet spacecraft has captured its first images of the far side of the Moon ahead of the probe’s historic lunar landing later this month.
The spacecraft entered lunar orbit Thursday, capturing the dramatic pictures of Earth’s natural satellite.

What, exactly, is so "stunning" about the photos? Some of the posts above have suggestions for truly stunning possibilities. Nazi bases, advertising logos, etc would be stunning. Miles and miles of undisturbed regolith? Not so much.

well, it is stunning that the china probe who surveyed the place earlier didn't laser etch ideograms meaning "this place owned by china".
