Israel's SpaceIL says it won't try second moonshot
SpaceIL, the Israeli company that attempted but failed to put an unmanned craft on the moon earlier this year, says it will not try a second moonshot.
The company issued a statement Tuesday saying its lunar mission in April has been widely hailed as "an exceptional success," despite crash landing on the moon. It says that "an attempt to repeat a trip to the moon is not enough of a challenge" and will instead search for a different mission.

How about not smashing into the moon at lunar terminal velocity? Is that enough of a challenge? Or how about the much easier to accomplish not increasing the number of craters on the moon?
One statement we won't be hearing from SpaceIL is, "hold my beer."

A better challenge for SpaceIL. Conduct experiments to see if weed will grow on the moon.
This will require procuring a supply of seeds. First growing experiments must be performed on Earth, then an experiment package can be launched to the moon on a future mission. No need for beer.

Over here on the Left Coast, we have already done part one. Plenty of seeds. Plenty of Earthbound growth experiments. I suggest Lemon Kush for the first Lunar experiment. It's fucking awesome!
Of course, LK is a bit difficult to grow, so perhaps Blue Dream, Green Crack or Dutch Treat might be better, as they are some of the easiest to grow.....

What's that? They're already claiming "success" at that one too?
