Russian hackers probed election systems in all 50 states, a new Senate report confirmed Thursday.
The report comes one day after former special counsel Robert Mueller told Congress that the Russian government is working to meddle in U.S. elections "as we sit here."
"It wasn't a single attempt," Mueller said Wednesday of Russia's 2016 election interference. "They're doing it as we sit here. And they expect to do it during the next campaign."
The bipartisan report by the Senate Intelligence Committee released Thursday confirmed previous comments by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that Russian hackers scanned election systems in all 50 states ahead of the 2016 presidential election. DHS initially acknowledged Russian attempts to hack into election systems in just 21 states.

Noooooooooo, Trump may have won because Russia was directly manipulating the vote. This is beyond partisan politics and is about a direct attack on our election infrastructure.
It doesn't matter who was trying to run for President. Hacking our election systems is an attack against our sovereignty and deserves a military response.
Trump isn't transparent either. Pee-Pee Tape anyone? He refuses to show his taxes, flaunts the foreign emoluments clause, refuses to divest himself from his businesses, funnels money from campaigns back into his pocket, etc. He's a dirty fuckwad, and it looks likely that he is actually serving RUSSIA.
So it's not hyperbolic to state that the Russians hacked our election system to forcibly elect somebody that they could control, or already control.
You should be EXTREMELY concerned and pissed off about this. The first thing we should be doing is outlawing electronic voting of any kind, and securing our election infrastructure. To do otherwise is a dickhead partisan move, because just at the moment, the Russians are supporting the Republicans.
Technically, lunchtime is at any moment. It's just a wave function.
