The Trump administration is postponing some of its new tariffs on Chinese imports — a significant retreat in the trade war that has rattled financial markets on both sides of the Pacific.

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced on Tuesday that 10% tariffs on certain popular consumer items — including cellphones, laptop computers, video game consoles, computer monitors and some toys, shoes and clothing — will be postponed until Dec. 15.

'What we've done is we've delayed it, so they they[sic] won't be relevant to the Christmas shopping season,' President Trump told reporters.

I guess it really is easy to win a trade war: just saber-rattle but never actually do things.

There is a lot of nervousness about the economy in the White House. I don't know if any of you saw Larry Kudlow on the Sunday news shows yesterday, but he was clearly drunk and/or high as fuck. He was reassuring everyone that there's no recession in sight. The last time he made that statement was immediately before the Great Recession in 2008.

These tariff delays (as opposed to just dropping them) is an indication that Trump is now more desperate to make a bad deal than to have no deal at all. That could actually be worse. A reasonable trade policy is necessary, but protectionism ain't it, as our sweaty fat degenerate president is learning the hard way.

All it takes is one degree of misdirection by professional liars to get you to completely misunderstand what is going on. Let me guess, you vote republicrat? This is about market manipulation, nothing to do with Trump being desperate to make a bad deal.

Some of my best friends are sweaty fat people. It's the combination with "degenerate" that makes it toxic.
