YouTube Restores Far-Right Channels After Appeal
Arthur T Knackerbracket has found the following story:
The channels of two prominent far-right YouTubers have been re-instated after the video-sharing site said it made a mistake in removing them. Initially, YouTube gave no reason for changing its decision and just said it had made a "wrong call". Later, it said that while many people found the channels "deeply offensive", they had not broken its rules. The decision came days after YouTube's chief executive said YouTube had to be open to hosting "controversial" ideas.
YouTube removed several channels and accounts this week, claiming they had broken its hate speech policies. Among them was a channel run by white nationalist Martin Sellner and an anonymous British YouTuber known as The Iconoclast. Mr Sellner was reportedly in contact with the man who allegedly carried out the Christchurch mosque shootings in March this year that killed 51 people. Austrian police are investigating his links to the attack. He denies any involvement in the shooting.
Both men protested about the closure of their YouTube channels on social media. They shared information sent to them from YouTube, which said they had "repeatedly" broken its guidelines. On Thursday, YouTube reversed its decision and reinstated the two channels. Several other far-right channels that YouTube banned this week remain unavailable.
An explanation for the change of heart came on Friday. Farshad Shadloo, YouTube's global product policy communications lead, said that after a "thorough review" it had decided that the channels had not broken its rules. "We realise that many may find the viewpoints expressed in these channels deeply offensive," he said. Mr Shadloo added that YouTube had recently updated the way it handled "hateful content".
Earlier this week YouTube boss Susan Wojcicki wrote in a letter to video-makers that YouTube must remain an "open platform". She said the desire to welcome all kinds of views had to be balanced against a "responsibility to protect the community".
"A commitment to openness is not easy. It sometimes means leaving up content that is outside the mainstream, controversial or even offensive," she said. "Hearing a broad range of perspectives ultimately makes us a stronger and more informed society," she claimed.
'I am Talking Directly to You': US Attorney Delivers Powerful Rebuke to White Nationalists
The U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio on Thursday announced new federal charges against a self-avowed white nationalist accused of threatening to commit an attack on a local Jewish community center. James Reardon, who attended the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, was arrested last week after authorities said he posted the threat on Instagram. U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said Reardon has now been charged with one count of making threats as authorities continue their investigation into Reardon and whether he my have any accomplices.
Of course, not so much that, but what Herdman said after that.
"I am talking directly to you," Herdman said at a news conference announcing the charges. "The Constitution protects your right to speak, your right to think, and your right to believe. If you want to waste the blessings of liberty by going down a path of hatred and failed ideologies, that is your choice."
Herdman continued, evoking the sacrifices made by U.S. service members in World War II against Nazism, as well as those who marched for civil rights throughout U.S. history.
"Thousands and thousands of young Americans already voted with their lives to ensure that this same message of intolerance, death, and destruction would not prevail - you can count their ballots by visiting any American cemetery in North Africa, Italy, France, or Belgium and tallying the white headstones," Herdman said. "You can also recite the many names of civil rights advocates who bled and died in opposing supporters of those same ideologies of hatred. Their voices may be distant, but they can still be heard."
"The Constitution may give you a voice, but it doesn't guarantee you a receptive audience," Herdman added.

Correct. And you should be aware of the difficulties Africans or Blacks from other parts of the world experience if they visit America. African-Americans, however, do have a culture, one that is the product of race-based slavery that kidnapped them and destroyed connection to the cultures they came from, and treated them as all the same. "White" Americans have no such experience, other than that having been the slavers gives them all a common responsibility and guilt of crimes against humanity. That is all the "whiteness" is, and why it is such a nasty thing in the United States. Fly your Rebel flag, racist scum!

Most whites weren't slave owners or slave traders. Slave traders didn't go into Africa to capture slaves. They bartered for them with goods like alcohol. The slaves captured by rival tribes.
Blaming whites today for slavery will be like blaming the whites of tomorrow for the crimes of the 1% today. Slave labor hurt the average American through wage suppression. It was just their time's version of H1B Indian workers or illegals working under the table.
American whites do have their own culture. You probably see it whenever you look out of your window in your nice neighborhood. Unfortunately that can only be enforced with high property values so the only non-whites who live amongst you are the cream of the crop.
Meanwhile anyone who actually has to interact with people who are different from them have a drastically different experience if they aren't safeguarded by these high property values. Our neighborhoods aren't gated and if we are lucky, there is no public transportation nearby. We see our neighbors stop looking like us and have to deal with culture clashes. Neighbors start keeping external lights on to thwart people of ill intent but now we have to put up black out curtains just to fall asleep from all of the light pollution.
So go on and keep socially signalling about how virtuous you are over the rest of us and how great it'll be when whiteness is defeated. When whites become a minority in their own country the others won't care if you were one of the "good" ones if you look white. You will not be judged favorably because they'll see that you didn't stand up with your own people and worse betrayed your own people. How can they trust you to not betray them with such a track record? How can they be sure you won't throw a quikcrete smoothie in their faces?
If it doesn't bother you that they'll kill you along with us if the fall of whites ever happens, please go get help for your suicidal thoughts.

Incest is more of a Jewish problem that they like to project on people they hate using their media empires. They have inbred so much that their chances of getting mental illness is something like 40 times the normal rates and they have several lovely genetic disorders from it too. To put icing on this mental illness cake, they then circumcise their sons which makes it more likely for mental illness to manifest if they survive the Rabbi's Genital Herpes infested mouth sucking the blood off of the freshly cut baby penis. It is quite the problem in New York City.
The poverty comes from the 1% shipping our jobs overseas and importing low cost labor in order to get even more money that they won't be using beyond investments to get even more money. The malnutrition comes from the 1% deciding to completely screw over Americans in their financial games.

Appalachia isn't full of jews but the whole "whites are inbred" meme came from Jewish media projecting their own problems on to us to dehumanize whites. Whites might have the occasional second cousin marriage but everyone else often has first cousin marriages.

When liberal types go out and push for bans on industries that were the foundation of many regions of the US all while exporting all of the jobs to other countries, what do you expect to happen? Ban coal, ban metal smelting, ban logging, oh this area is a non-build zone thanks to the protected species act. The only mistake these small town people made was not moving out when the liberals decided to completely destroy their way of life.

And you think that Republicans aren't voting for awful trade deals that result in many jobs being exported? Trump is inserting provisions from the TPP into the NAFTA renegotiation, which isn't otherwise changed much at all from NAFTA anyway. Republican politicians are the worst corporatists (and therefore job exporters) in the country. Of course, far too many Democrats are also corporatists. Bernie Sanders, however, has a good track record of opposing awful trade deals which export jobs. Surely you'll vote for him, if you care that much about the issue?
If their way of life includes poisoning their air and water, it won't last very long.

You are conflating two separate facts and trying to make a strawman. The colour of your skin does not dictate which religion you many follow. There are white Christians and black Christians. There are white Muslims and black Muslims. The same can be said for any religion if you care to open your eyes and look more closely, rather than simply believe what you have read or been told. They may not be the majority, but they exist.

You realize that incest is not a "white" thing? Back when I was driving truck, one of my black buddies shared a story with me. He got stuck in S. Carolina over a weekend. The town was pretty much all black. Bigger than a one stop light crossroads, I think they had maybe ten stop lights in the whole town. So, black man in an all black town - and he felt uncomfortable, almost scared. Everyone he met looked alike, like cookie cutter gingerbread men and women. I laughed at him, and told him I'd heard similar stories about white people, but never black. The man laughed right back at me, and asked me which sins I thought only white people were guilty of.
Yeah, an entire town filled with inbred black people. Amazing, huh?

I was just assuming that someone might confuse you for a white without a profile picture and analysis by an expert. I don't actually keep a book of everyone's race on here. I just assume that anyone hating on whites is either a traitor or white-looking.
The native population was mostly wiped out by African Smallpox brought over by sea turtles and survivors were forced on to reservations because they couldn't overcome their habit of raiding European settlements and literally stealing our women after murdering the men.
Blacks were enslaved by the 1%, not by the 99%. We ended it and freed them. Muhammed Ali went to Africa and came back appreciating that his ancestors were on the slave boats. Flights to Africa aren't expensive and if black people are tired of feeling oppression from white people they can go to Africa and get raped by Chinese businesses instead.

Yeah there is this crazy thing where diseases can jump from one species to another. Influenza is an example. Sea turtles that carried African smallpox were eaten by the natives. The natives became sick and transferred it to each other. Indian numbers were declining before Europeans came.
But now thanks to the white man there are more Native Americans now than ever before.

Got a cite on the sea turtles and smallpox? Not that it's impossible, but I have never seen anything to back that up.
When whites arrived in North America, the Native Americans were already a declining population. Was just reading an account from the early 1800s, from someone who lived 30 years among several major tribes, and one thing he specifically noted was the poor fertility (and this affected every tribe he was familiar with) -- only about one woman in five had any children at all, despite rampant sex in all directions and a great yearning for offspring by one and all. Inbreeding did not seem to be the problem (the Indians had social precautions to prevent it), so I expect it was some venereal disease (if not syphillis, then something else).
And there is no Alkibiades to come back and save us from ourselves.

However, your writing style, spelling and the very words that you say would give an analyst much to work on.
