    Post shit that gets upmodded once in a while and this would not be an issue. Almost nobody here has any issue with their (IPID's) karma and we argue on damned near every story.

    With some notable exceptions. E.g. when:
    1. everybody but aristarchus will shitpost; *and*
    2. the magister will suggest that particular story is even worse than one of his submission

    Quantum mechanics and blackholes/cosmogenesis are two areas showing this pattern quite frequently.

          Some of the early work in industrial efficiency (by Frederick Taylor [wikipedia.org]) suggested that best efficiency was obtained by choosing the appropriate shovel for the material shoveled. That is, denser materials called for smaller shovels. Ergo, you should find a small shovel for your black holes, not bigger.
