The US Department of Justice managed to unravel an infamous dark web child-porn website, called "Welcome to Video", leading to the arrest of 337 people in 18 countries. They managed to do this not by breaking any encryption that was used but by tracing the Bitcoin transactions the site used for payment, and following the money. From CNN's report:
For almost three years, "Welcome To Video" was a covert den for people who traded in clips of children being sexually assaulted.
There, on the darknet's largest-known site of child exploitation videos, hundreds of users from around the world accessed material that showed the sexual abuse of children as young as six months old.
Then it all began to unravel.
On Wednesday, the United States' Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed how it had followed a trail of bitcoin transactions to find the suspected administrator of the site: A 23-year-old South Korean man named Jong Woo Son.
But the case is much bigger than just one man. Over the almost three years that the site was online, users downloaded files more than one million times, according to a newly unsealed DOJ indictment. At least 23 children in the US, Spain and the United Kingdom who were being abused by the users of the site have been rescued, the DOJ said in a press release.

If you support the British Government, the American Government, or maybe even the Canadian Government, you support pedophiles.
Do you doubt me? Go read up on the stories about endemic pedophilia stories being covered up by each of those governments. 'Think of the children.' has a special irony when you have a 30 year history of parliamentary pedophiles in Britain getting away with it because MI5 is protecting them in exchange for budget favors, when the DOJ/NY DA conveniently shut down the investigation into Jeffery Epstein's blackmail tapes, giving time for a 'large fire' on his 'private Lolita Island' to destroy the relocated tapes after they were moved from his Florida home, upon admission they were there and plea bargaining to quash further investigation that resulted in a known child predator getting less time in jail than a DUI subject, someone who on average would ruin far less lives with their reckless behavior than he did with his carefully crafted sexual abuse.
Or that story many years ago on the green site about the Canadian cp site with hundreds or thousands of accesses from government sites in Britain, the US, etc that were from political office ip addresses, not law enforcement related ones.
individually, each of these events might be taken as concerning but isolated. Taken collectively, however, the government is the biggest threat to your children apart from family or close friends (go read the statistics, the rando pedo rapist/murderer might be the scariest, followed by human traffickers, but the greatest source of abuse is one's family, followed closed by people involved in political and social welfare meant to 'protect the children.')
