Arthur T Knackerbracket has found the following story:

The North's latest launch follows statements of displeasure over the slow pace of nuclear negotiations with the US.

North Korea fired two projectiles towards its eastern sea on Thursday as nuclear talks between Pyongyang and Washington remain at a deadlock.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff did not immediately confirm whether the weapons were rockets, artillery or ballistic missiles, or how far they flew.

"We are maintaining readiness and monitoring in case of additional launches," it said in a statement.

Japan's coast guard said the projectiles appeared to be missiles and landed outside Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), which extends 200 nautical miles (370km) from land.

The North's latest launch follows statements of displeasure over the slow pace of nuclear negotiations with the United States and demands the Trump administration ease sanctions on Pyongyang.

Earlier this month, North Korea test-fired an underwater-launched ballistic missile for the first time in three years.

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a long-term pattern of exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of empathy toward other people. People with NPD often spend much time thinking about achieving power and success, or on their appearance. Typically, they also take advantage of the people around them. Therapy is difficult, because people with narcissistic personality disorder usually do not consider themselves to have a mental health problem.

Don't expect any progress with North Korea. Kim is playing Trump like an old fiddle.

All progress is related to China, not Kim, who is a puppet of China. You aren't the tastiest crayon in the box either.

It is amazing how little understanding of the world some people on this site have. It is impossible to end up that way except by design, ie you are being fed false information.

It was not unexpected for Kim to get a bit more feisty as the relationship with China degraded. No big surprise there.

I wouldn't call him a puppet of China. He does keep the U.S. a off balance in the area, and the US coming to China for dealing with him - which is what they want so they tolerate and support him as necessary. Just as importantly North Korea is a very nice buffer zone between South Korea and China. Direct uncontrollable contamination by SK would not be in China's government's interests.

But he is not risk-free tool.
