People got used to pre-determined games where you had an easy-to-discern win condition; this is no longer the case. AI is all the rage now and you can play with your machine forever and ever on your phone:

Earlier this month we told you about AI Dungeon, an AI-powered text adventure with near infinite possibilities. You can type what you want into the game, and the AI will generate a response on the fly, creating a freewheeling experience that encourages cooperation and imagination. Now, AI Dungeon is available on iOS and Android as well, making it much easier to explore fantasy and sci-fi realms with an AI game master.

For PC users, there is an even better port that uses "half precision floating point using significantly less GPU memory" (you can run it on 4GB cards instead of 16+): https://github.com/cloveranon/Clover-Edition

Also includes coloured text, suggested actions and a ton of pre-defined scenarios missing from the original.

In such a scenario anyone who wants to kill and eat my dogs has a name - dog food.

So nice of you to self select to feed them - saves me any moral qualms.

if you notice I cooked dog AFTER THE STORY made me devour it alive, unwarranted. So I have been merciful to the dog.

Dogs maul meatbags but usually keep away from bots. It's the whirring you see.

I had a St Bernard that was so afraid of a remote-control toy truck that she jumped into the bathtub to get away from it. If she had sat on it, she'd have totally killed it.

My sister was bragging about how bold her Australian shepherd was. Boy did he run away fast!

My dogs hate the vacuum cleaner. Seems all dogs do.

Maybe I should make a recording of a vacuum cleaner and make it my ring tone. If I don't here it, the barking of the dogs should be enough to get my attention. I'm going to try it as an experiment, to replace the barking dog ring tone.

I guess those sounds have hypersonic frequencies that trigger pets, but experimentation does not hurt.
